As we are continually updating and enhancing the Fongo Mobile and World Edition apps, we are introducing a deprecation schedule for our apps.
This will ensure that users have the optimal experience with new features and constant assistance from our support team.
The app versioning scheme consists of a year, month and build versioning convention. For example: 2021.8.1.
The latest version of the app will always be the current year and current month.
Statuses
Supported
An app will be supported for one full calendar year from its release.
- Technical support is provided
- New account registration is allowed
- Connection to the Fongo service is allowed
Deprecated
An app will be considered deprecated once it has been released for one full calendar year.
- Technical support is NOT provided
- New account registration is NOT allowed
- Connection to the Fongo service is allowed
It is recommended to upgrade the app as soon as you can to continue using it.
Sunset
An app will be in a "sunset" status once it has been released for two full calendar years.
- Technical support is NOT provided
- New account registration is NOT allowed
- Connection to the Fongo service is NOT allowed
You must update the app to continue using it.

Out of Date Notifications
One week after our first release of the month, we will notify users if they last logged in with an app version that is older than two months.
