In general, Fongo Wireless should work as soon as you pop in the SIM card and restart the device. If it does not, you may need to enter APN (Access Point Names) settings for your device to connect to the Fongo Wireless Network.
APN Instructions for Android
- Insert the Fongo Wireless SIM into your phone
- Open the android Settings app
- Select Mobile Networks (labelled Cellular Networks in Android Lollipop 5.0), which might be found under Connections
- Select Access Point Names
- Press Menu
- Press New APN or + symbol
- In the new APN field, enter the following settings:
Name: Fongo Wireless
APN: gonet.apn
Username & Password: leave blank
- Press Menu and Save
- Ensure the new Fongo Wireless APN is selected
- Restart your phone
Instructions for iPhone (not available on all models)
- Go to the "Settings" app
- Select 'Cellular'
- Select 'Cellular Data Network'
- Tap 'APN'
- In the new APN field, enter the following settings
- Name: Fongo Wireless
- APN: gonet.apn
- Username & Password: leave blank
- In the new APN field, enter the following settings
- Restart your phone
If your Fongo Wireless SIM card still is not working after changing your APN settings, please contact our support team.
