General Blocking Settings
- From the app's setting menu, select Account
- Select Settings
- Under Phone Service, select Blocked Numbers
- You can:
- Block Anonymous Calls prevents calls shown as "Unknown" or "Blocked"
- Block Non-Contact Calls prevents calls from numbers not saved in your contacts
- Block Specific Numbers prevents calls & texts from the numbers you add here
Blocking a Recent Call or Text
Block a Call:
1. Access 'History' from the app's main menu
2. Tap and hold the number you wish to block, then select "Block / Report Spam" in the drop down menu that appears
- If it's an existing contact, you must tap the contact name, then press and hold the dark coloured row showing the recent call details
(If using iOS with Voice Over on, Tap-Tap-Hold-Release to show the popup menu)
Block a Text:
- Access 'Messages' from the app's main menu
- Tap and hold the conversation of the number you wish to block, then select "Block / Report Spam" in the drop down menu that appears
- If it's an existing contact, you must enter the conversation, then tap the "..." button, then choose "Block / Report Spam" in the drop down menu that appears
Notes:
- At this time (due to a technical limitation), if the specific number that you blocked leaves you a voicemail, it will still arrive in your app. We are not able to prevent them from leaving a voicemail at this time.
- You cannot forward a spam text message to 7726 (SPAM)
