How do I send and receive international SMS
International texting is now available!
If you subscribe to Unlimited Canada Texting from Fongo, you will be able to send text messages to Canadian phone numbers.
Fongo also offers Unlimited Global Texting, which allows you to text numbers around the world.
Note: if you previously subscribed to Unlimited Canada + US Texting you have been upgraded to Unlimited Global Texting at no cost.
To compose an international sms message enter the number in the composer as
011[CountryCode][LocalCode]
All international texts must start with 011.
To subscribe to Unlimited Texting, tap the Add-ons tile.
*Peer-to-Peer Messaging and Text Messaging (SMS) are currently available for Android, BlackBerry, and iOS devices.
